Who we are

Tumble Toast Studio ("we", "us") is a small independent app studio in Australia. This policy covers our apps and this website. If you have any questions, email [email protected].

Pet-a-Tank

Pet-a-Tank is made for young children, and it is designed to collect nothing.

• No personal information is collected. We don't ask for or collect names, email addresses, photos, location, contacts, device identifiers or any other personal information.
• Saved on your device only. The game saves its progress on your device: pets, tank layouts, player nicknames you choose, settings, play-time totals and any photos taken in the game (pictures of the pet's tank, not the device camera). This information is never sent to us or anyone else.
• Parental PIN. If a grown-up sets a PIN, it is stored on the device in scrambled (hashed) form and never leaves it.
• Backups. A grown-up can choose to save a backup file from the settings. That file goes wherever you choose to save it; we never receive it.
• Spoken voice. The game talks using your device's built-in voice. It does not use the microphone or camera.
• One optional purchase. The game is free to try. A grown-up can unlock everything with a single one-off purchase in the grown-ups' settings (behind a long press and the optional PIN). Apple handles the payment through the App Store; we never see your name, payment details or Apple ID. The game only asks Apple whether the purchase has been made, so it can unlock it again (for example after reinstalling). Children are never shown anything to buy.
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no subscriptions, no social features and no third-party code that collects data.
• Internet use. The game works offline and never contacts our servers. Its only connection is to Apple's App Store for the optional purchase, and it sends no information about you or your child.

Deleting the app removes everything it saved.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our children's apps are built so that there is nothing to collect. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example, by email), contact us and we will delete it.

This website

This website has no cookies, ads or analytics. Like any website, our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and reliability. We don't use these to identify anyone.

If you email us

If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We don't add you to mailing lists or share your details. We delete support emails once they're no longer needed.

Our other apps

As we release new apps, each one will be listed here with exactly what it does with your information. If an app ever needs to collect anything, we'll say so clearly here and in the app before it happens.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Since our apps don't collect personal information, this usually only applies to emails you've sent us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For important changes, we'll also mention it in the app's update notes.
